Cards are made from marigosa tree twigs and leaves which are placed between two sheets, then passed through a pressing machine. The pressure on the sheets crushes the leaves, which are then removed, reavealing a beautiful imprint. This process requires no chemicals of any kind and the imprint is the color extract of the leaves themselves ...natural color in its purest form. Wedding invitations wording is printed on a translucent vellum overlay, then tied with a sheer chiffon ribbon to a handmade background card embedded with real marigosa leaf imprints (not actual leaves) . Please note our extra heavy (300gsm) cards are made from recycled cotton and will vary in thickness, botanical arrangement and color.
