A fresh white flower, the calla lily has a large, trumpet-shaped bloom that rests upon a long, smooth stem. Symbolizing “magnificent beauty,” the calla lily is easy to arrange and guaranteed to make an impression. Available from FiftyFlowers.com, they would make a spectacular wedding bouquet, table centerpiece or flower arrangement. For these stunning calla lily wedding invitations, we used classic black and white and embellished it with a miniature, crush-proof calla lily silk flower. Even though they look expensive, the price was a magnificent 66¢ each from Formal-Invitations.com. As a bonus, the Onyx black heavyweight background card, white printable overlay and white envelope are all made from 100% post consumer fibers, making it a beautiful and earth-friendly choice.

Modern Bride magazine put together a rich opulent wedding style featuring sparkling jewels and luxe fabrics. Get this same luxe look with purple wedding invitations from Formal-Invitations.com for a low 62¢ each with envelope! We started with the rich plum purple background card and created the overlay using crisp white printed with clip art of a vintage decorative ornament. The overlay and background card were fastened with the Citrine jewel brad. Easy and gorgeous.

Glamour magazine featured how to look chic in simple, striking black and white fashions this month. We love the bold graphic look and created simple black and white wedding invitations using our Onyx black background card and crisp white overlay enhanced with vintage clip art, sold separately. We fastened the overlay to the background card using a Diamond jewel brad for a sparkling modern twist. A chic designer look, made entirely from 100% post consumer fibers, including envelope is only 62¢ each, the clip art book and cd was $14.

Ancient Roman influence is popular today as seen in the gladiator shoes, shown in both Glamour and Brides magazine this month. You could incorporate this theme in your wedding using a palette of white and gold accented with ivy green. Our gold wedding invitations wrapped with the Roman jacquard belts, embroidered with gold metallic threads, would set the tone for your glamorous wedding. Since the invitations are only $1.02 each, including envelope, you can splurge on those gorgeous Christian Lacroix shoes!

We saw this gorgeous Vera Wang dress on PreOwnedWeddingDresses.com and took the same idea and applied it to our wedding invitations supplies. The white printable overlay was layered over our Vanilla background card and embellished with the Latte satin ribbon and Oval brass buckle…simple, chic and a reasonable $1.26 each with envelope. The card, overlay and envelope are all made from 100% post consumer fibers, making this a very earth-friendly choice.

The dress isn’t borrowed, but it is the next best thing…pre-owned, for huge savings. We found this gown at PreOwnedWeddingDresses.com, a listing service designed to connect buyers and sellers of new, sample and used designer wedding dresses. The splash of pale blue is an elegant way to add the traditional “something blue” to your ensemble. We applied this tradition to our Snow white wedding invitations made from recycled cotton and embedded with silk fibers, fastened to the translucent vellum overlay with a pale blue Zircon jewel brad… providing another way to have high end items for huge savings, at only 94¢ each with envelope.
