Wheat harvest wedding invitations
In Shakespeare’s time, sheaves of wheat were carried in the wedding procession. Wheat also represents bounty and wealth and would make an elegant wedding motif. For wheat wedding invitations we used vintage clip art of wheat sheaves printed on translucent overlay, fastened to a flecked heavyweight Camel colored card with a pale orange Citrine jewel brad. Though bountiful on design, the invitation was only 66¢ each including a sage green 100% recycled envelope from Formal-Invitations.com. The background shown is Van Gogh’s “Wheat Field with Sheaves”…beautiful!
