Spring Invitation Ideas
Perfect for a spring wedding, these exquisite French blue wedding invitations were created using the heavyweight Slate background card and white overlay wrapped with a Birch lokta cord ($1.02 from http://www.formal-invitations.com). Lokta is an native shrub in Nepal, harvested by cutting its stem, which regenerates in a few years. The inner bark of lotka is soaked, hammered into pulp then spread into thin sheets and dried by the sun. The Birch white lokta twisted cord contains 50% recycled lokta fibers, the ends are gently unraveled to reveal a beautiful leaf shape.
Inspired by Prismera.com‘s Mimosa earrings we created these summery wedding invitations.
