wedding color palette

wedding-colors-fall-2011
Inspired by Pantone’s fall color report, we put together a fresh, modern palette using pear green, teal and royal purple. The designers secret to using these colors is to choose one dominant (60%), a secondary (30%) and an accent color (10%) throughout your event for a consistent look.

We used these hues to create this fabulous wedding invitation using a heavyweight Anjou background card and crisp white overlay wrapped in romantic lace and a contemporary royal purple satin belly bands ($1.26 each from Formal-Invitations.com). Teal would also look great with the lace and purple band. Order at http://www.formal-invitations.com/AYR-ANJO-LARO.html

Navy blue, red and kiwi green wedding color paletteInspired by Brooks Brothers.com Fall Looks Collection, we put together this wedding color palette using sophisticated Navy blue, Scarlet Red as a secondary color and modern Kiwi green as an accent. Wedding invitations could feature a Navy blue background card wrapped with a Red Beaded Sash, Unryu with Red Velvet Belt or a Ruby crystal brad from http://www.formal-invitations.com. The bridesmaid dresses would look fabulous in Scarlet Red, accented with a bouquet of lime green orchids. To complete the look use Navy table linens with red roses mixed with the orchids or use red candles accented with kiwi green ribbons as centerpieces.
