The white overlay was printed with a vintage illustration of a butterfly ($14 from http://www.formal-invitations.com for a clip art book of 1268 images with cd), which could also be used to print on return address envelope labels, favor labels or tags, menu and programs for a uniform look. We also loved this vintage beaded bridal clutch from Orange & Blossom ($67) made in Belgium by hand. This designer handbag by Walborg features a stunning butterfly design in white beads, which shines on a cream/ivory background. A gorgeous vintage touch alongside any wedding gown.

Coco Chanel was a pioneering French fashion designer whose modernist philosophy, menswear-inspired fashions, and pursuit of simplicity made her an important figure in fashion. Elle magazine’s collection of Chanel’s French seaside inspired looks gave us the idea for these layered wedding invitations with bellybands. The heavyweight Onyx black background card and crisp white overlay were wrapped with a translucent Unryu sash and a Cobalt blue grosgrain ribbon for très beau invitations. The very beautiful invitations only look expensive at only 94¢ each, including envelope from Formal-Invitations.com.
