We used the idea to create sparkling winter wedding invitations using a Metallic Midnight Blue background card, snow white overlay and fastened them together using a silver snowflake brad. We used the same color palette to create complimentary holiday wedding invitations using the ivy green background card and crisp white overlay fastened together with a miniature crushproof silk calla lily. We found this Azuri Reversible Pashmina Shawl from Nimli.com available in 110 colors for an amazing $29, we haven’t ordered one (yet), but it looks like a great deal and a perfect gift for bridesmaids. Our Ivy green invitation wrapped in a tartan plaid belt is also an affordable option for holiday wedding invitations at only 99¢ each including envelope.
Glamour Magazine’s October issue featured the plenty of plaid, which we love! Inspired by the article, we found two fabric plaid belts that would be great for a cozy fall or winter wedding invitations or holiday cards. The tartan red plaid belt embellishment features black, green and yellow threads and looks great with the metallic Gold background, together with the envelope is only a cool 98¢ each. For a more modern look we paired the Kiwi background card and blue tartan belt, which has yellow-green and black threads for an easy 94¢ each with envelope. Both of these invitations are incredibly easy to make and truly one of a kind.
