Orange Grove Inspired Color Palette and DIY Wedding Invitations
The sweetly scented orange blossom is traditionally associated with good fortune, and was popular in bridal bouquets and head wreaths in Europe during the 18th and 19th century. This vintage print from AllPosters.com depicts a lush California orange grove, which we used to create a color palette using Goldenrod, Olive green and Lime green. The tree wedding invitations were designed using the Lime green cardstock and vintage clip art was printed on a crisp white overlay, fastened together with a sparkling Peridot jewel brad. You could also dab a little orange watercolor or marker on the oranges for a pop of color, if you are ambitious! The tree design would also look great on your place cards, programs, thank you cards and menu cards.
