When to Order and Mail Wedding Invitations

Wedding invitations should be ordered three to six months before your wedding date. This allows time for proofing, shipping, assembling and addressing envelopes. We recommend bringing a finished sample to the post office to determine the correct postage before stamping.

Invitations should be mailed six weeks before your wedding date. Mail invitations eight weeks before your date for out-of-town guests or if your wedding falls near a holiday.
